The story of Maitreya Bodhisattva

-The last Samma Sambuddha to descend in this great Bhadra Kalpa will descend into the world of Maitreya Buddha as the Supreme Buddha.

-Bhadra means the highest point of a period.  

-The Dhamma states that the maximum number of Supreme Buddhas that can appear in one land is five.  It is called Bhadra Kalpa.

-The four Buddhas Kakusanda, Konagama, Kashyapa and Gautama descended on the earth and ended the Piriniwan. 

-Maitreya Buddha descends into the world as the last Buddha.  

-After the attainment of Pirinivan during the Maitreya Buddha period, this earth plane will also be destroyed and an earth plane will be formed again for a long time.

-Then a new era begins.  But it is difficult to say how long it will take for a Buddha to be descends  The reason for this is that the zero time of Buddha is very long.

- Correspondingly, life expectancy is reduced to 10 years

- Then again, it has been preached that with the development of human virtues and good thoughts, the life span of human beings will gradually increase.

- Human life expectancy increases to "Asankeiya " levels, ( Suppose it is in one Lakh 1,000,000 )

- The Buddha's sermon states that the world of the Buddha will descend during the period when Human lifespan decreases again to decline and the lifespan of human beings is 80,000 years.

- The lifespan of the Maitreya Buddha is 80,000 years.

- (Maitreya Buddha is a hardworking Buddha who has completed the Samathis Paramita over a period of sixteen hundred thousand kalpas after receiving the first definitive commentary)

- That is, I remind you that even before we had the opportunity to enlighten the Gautama Bodhisattvas, the Maitreya Bodhisattvas had tried to complete the Paramita Dhammas.....

- At a time when the Maitreya Bodhisattvas became the " Chakravarti king " of one soul and ruled all the people of the world in the Panchasila, a Samma Sambuddha called "Muhuttara" came into the world.  All the creatures of the world came together to hear the Dhamma.  

- The Maitreya Bodhisattvas also renounced the Sakvithi kingdom, all pleasures, and were ordained before him as "Rathana ''

- He later performed a number of almsgiving ceremonies, exemplifying other monks and acting as a very pious and virtuous bhikkhu.  

- At that time the " muhuttara " Buddha said,

- This bhikkhu ( " Rathana " )  that after sixteen hundred thousand kalpas he would appear in the world as Samma Sambuddha called Maithriya.

- This was the first " wiwarana " given to Maitreya Buddha.

- Our great Gautama Buddha “ Thawthisa “ closed the heavens and finally, the gods and their entourage ascended to the city of " Sankas. "  

- Many who saw the miracle were amazed. Many were ordained, Among them were the Maitreya Bodhisattvas, 

- At that time there was a son named "Siriwardena" in Sankassa town.

- One day this monk made a canopy out of the cloth he had and offered it to the Buddha's room.  

- Gautama Buddha preached in this regard:  The "Anarya" monk who offered this robe was later reborn as a Maitreya Buddha.

- This is the final definitive commentary on the Maitreya Bodhisattvas, and this is also his final paramita.  That is, all the work to attain enlightenment has been completed.

Descent of the Maitreya Buddha: -

- Maitreya Buddha, who completed all the Parami, now resides in the divine world called "Thusitha".  It is a doctrine common to all the Supreme Buddhas.

- He accepted the divine invitation of 10,000 gods and looked at the five great looks and was born in the divine world called "Ajitha" 

- ( these five looks are time, island, land, caste, mother, etc.).

- ( As mentioned above, Maitreya Buddha came into the world at the age of humans lifespan eighty thousand years/ 80,000 )

- At that time there was a kingdom called "Kethumathi" which was full of rich grains. Its ruler was a Sakvithi king named “ Sanka. “

- This Sanka king has a priestly named " Subrahman " who gives him the knowledge of the Dhamma

- In the womb of his wife Brahmavati, the soul of Maitreya Buddha was born

The Great Mahaabhinikramana

- Maitreya Bodhisattva has lived a secular life for 18,000 years.

- Finally, on the day his son "Brahmawardhana" was born to his queen goddess Chandramukhi

- He sees the four omens, abandons all worldly pleasures, and aspires to sublime Nirvana.

- With that in mind, the Bodhisattvas go upstairs and spend seven days in spiritual pursuits

- The Great Abhinishkramana is performed on the Vesak Poya day when all the Buddhas attained Enlightenment.

- The Bodhisattva attains enlightenment by sitting under the "Naa / Naa Gaha" tree on the morning of Vesak Poya day 

- Maitreya Buddha was born in one soul as a teacher and the Student is our Gautama Buddha.

- One day the teacher and the student went on a trip.

- They had to go through a very difficult jungle road. On the way, the female tiger was in a cave at the foot of the mountain with her newborn cubs.

- The tiger is getting ready to eat its young because of the unbearable hunger. 

- Seeing this, the teacher and the disciple thought that this should be avoided and went in search of something to quench the tiger's hunger.

- The teacher told the student to stay there and went into the jungle to look for something to eat.  

- It took a long time for the teacher to come back. 

- the Tiger are very close to eating their young.

- The disciple thought nothing of it.  The disciple also thought 'I' was the best food to quench tiger's hunger, and the student fell prey to the Tigers.  

- When the teacher returned, the disciple was not there.  

- When the teacher saw what had happened, he realized that his student had fallen victim to the tiger

- The teacher looked at the past spiritually to understand exactly what had happened.

- At that moment, the teacher saw that his disciple had made a  wish before he fell prey to the tiger, 

- it is "Thinking that I would soon become a Buddha."

- Therefore, the parameters required for Gautama Bodhisattvas to attain Enlightenment were fulfilled

- Maitreya Buddha must have been born before Gautama Buddha, but Gautama Bodhisattvas had to meet all the parameters required to become a Buddha, so Gautama Buddha came into the world before Maitreya Buddha.

- The Dhamma philosophy of all Buddhas is the same. This is the time of Sri Gauthama Sambuddha Sasana.
